LiveRail London ("the App") is a train journey planning application. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
LiveRail London is designed with privacy in mind. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All user data is stored locally on your device.
Specifically, the following data is stored only on your device using local storage:
The App connects to the Transport for London (TfL) Unified API to retrieve live journey planning data, station information, and service status. When you search for a journey, your search query (station names and departure time) is sent to the TfL API. This data is not logged or stored by LiveRail London. TfL's own privacy policy governs how they handle API requests. You can review it at tfl.gov.uk/corporate/privacy-and-cookies.
LiveRail London does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or location. The App works immediately upon installation.
The App does not use any analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or device identifiers.
LiveRail London does not request or access your device's location. All station selection is done manually by the user.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can clear your favourites and recent searches within the App, or delete all data by uninstalling the App.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
